Conventions play a crucial role in building up the genre, for example, in the Horror Film “Evil Dead Rise” a huge amount of fake blood is used to emphasise on the Horror Genre.

Genres evolve overtime, as Filmmakers experiment with technologies and ideas. This helps to create unique films making it more engaging for the audience.
