EDITING DRAFT 1
Me and Alishba decided that I’ll be editing the 1st draft and she will edit the 2nd draft. In the beginning, I added dull tones to create a more uncomfortable environment, to create a sense of urgency, I reduced the clip durations in which Rania is running from the killer, I zoomed onto her face even more so that the close up remains on her mouth and feet.
To keep the killer’s identity hidden, the focus remained on Rania more….
The editing is a mix of both continuity and non-continuity as in the beginning, as Rania runs the clips durations are short to create a panicking environment….After the murder scene, we took longer shots to create unease and emphasise on the hands and legs of the body….
Coming towards the scene of the parents, we took different angles and combined them together, the duration of these clips were kept average…. Same warm tones were used to create a grieving environment.
The film opening duration also exceeded the time limit, therefore I have to make it shorter…
